Mistakemistake biography

Mistakemistake is a Belgrade crew that gathered different members into the eclectic, up beat combination of electro sound, with a hint of ragga-reggae and garage-2step (as they like to call "Hip-electro-ragga-2-hop reggae-step").

The crew consists of: Ivan Bon, Edi Bon, Milovan Bošković, Zoe Kidah, Constructa and guesting members Elena Lange and Shobaya.

It all started about 1997, with Ivan and Edi Bon (two brothers), who developed their electro style in their home production. For years, Mistakemistake welcomed members that had something of their own to add to their art expression. Basically, the two brothers made tracks and joined members added vocals and sometimes other sequences. The name Mistakemistake descends from the concept that every art creation is based on mistakes.

So far, release of the band are 12’ EP and 12’ single (Masterplan Records, Austria, 2003), album “Hipelectroragga2hopreggaestep” (Multimedia Records –Universal licensee for SCG, 2004), songs on some compilations ("Belgrade Coffee Shop” #3 and #4 - B92, 2003 and 2004 and “Belgrade In Clubbin' We Trust" - HMK Music 1999) and a remix for a song of German band Stella, "Finger On The Trigger For The Years To Come" (L'AGE/D'OR, 2000). During the past years, the bend had performed in many clubs and several festivals, but with a strong impact on the audience. They released five video clips that reached top position in all charts in their native country.

The present form of the band was established during 2002, and today Mistakemistake are:

Ivan Bon, (11^th of Dec. 1977.,Belgrade), a master degree in art and sculpture at the Fine Arts Academy in Belgrade. He composes the music tracks for MISTKAKEMISTAKE.

Edi Bon, (28^th of Sept.1970., Belgrade), a brother of Ivan, a master degree in astrophysics scientist, currently working at the Belgrade Observatory. He produces, mixes, and records the tracks and does audio and video editing.

Milovan - Milovan Bosković, (18^th of Sept.1973., Belgrade), student of veterinary. He is a singer, with reggae-ragga style. Also plays the guitar.

Zoe Kidah - Ana Janković, (12^thof Jan.1982., Belgrade), a student of Spanish. She is a singer with R'n'B and garage style.

Constructa - Ana Ignjatovic, (12^th of Oct.1978., Belgrade), a student of architecture, sings mostly a cold electro, with a ruff ragga style.

Bonus members:

Elena Lange, (3^rd of Mar.1975., Hamburg) finished a master degree in philosophy and the Japanese language. She is also a singer for the Stella from Hamburg. She lives and works in Germany.

Shobaya - Nebojša Andjelković, (1^st of Aug. 1977., Belgrade), the cook, student., and a guitar player. He used to be a member of the bend “Mravi”.
